What is Telemedicine
COASTAL FOOT AND ANKLES Telemedicine Program allows Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeons to provide you with the best care regardless of your physical location. You are able to access and interact with your foot and
ankle specialist from the convenience of your home or wherever you may be. Your Telemedicine appointment is delivered through a platform called Zoom. Zoom is a video conferencing platform used for your virtual office visit.
The Zoom video conferencing platform is HIPAA compliant to ensure your security and privacy.
If you are accessing from iPhone or iPad:

Open App Store (iPhone/iPad Users) or Play Store (Android Users).

Download Zoom Cloud Meetings App.

Open Zoom Cloud Meetings App.

Click Sign Up.

Provide First Name, Last Name, and a valid email address.

A link will be sent to the email address provided to activate your account.

Click on Activate Account. A window will pop and you will be prompted to create a password.

After providing your password, click activate.

After completing the process please notify our office that your account has been setup.

You will receive a text message or email providing a link to start a Zoom meeting.
Click on the link provided to open Zoom App to start a video meeting with your Doctor.
If you are using a desktop, you will click on the link that is emailed to you to gain access to your video appointment. Facetime can also be used.
Scheduling Your Appointment
To schedule your Telemedicine Appointment please call 281-485-2988 (Pearland) or 281-484-2400 (Memorial Hermann Southeast professional bldg).
You are able to choose your preferred foot and ankle specialist. Upon scheduling your Telemedicine appointment, a link to access your appointment will be emailed to you. On the day and time of your appointment you will simply
click the link that was emailed to you to access your video appointment with your doctor.
What to Expect
During your telemedicine appointment, your doctor will provide a virtual office visit examination and discuss treatment plan options with you.
Equipment
You are able to use your smartphone, tablet or personal computer with video and audio capability.
