Dr. Moss is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He was recently invited to provide his expertise to help prepare the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery National Board Examination for the Board Certification Process of new physicians.
Dr. Moss has been involved in post graduate residency education for over 11 years. He writes extensively and lectures nationally regarding conditions of the foot and ankle. He currently serves on the Residency Committee at the Greater Texas Education Foundation that administers the West Houston Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency and Fellowship Programs. He helps to train residents in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and conservative treatment options. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations .
Dr. Moss has been in practice since 2001 when he formed Coastal Foot and Ankle Associates, PA. Coastal Foot and Ankle with the support of the local community and vast referral base of local referring physicians, has grown to encompass 2 offices that support and provide service to the South Houston, Pearland, Friendswood, Clearlake, League City, Sugarland, and Missouri City communities. We are also proud to provide service to many growing communities including Alvin, Lake Jackson, Manvel and Dickinson. Dr. Moss is affiliated with a larger practice, Mckinney Foot and Ankle Associates and together has 6 foot and ankle surgeons.
Dr. Moss has a special interest in complex deformity reconstruction and Sport Related Injuries. This includes repair of fractures, ligament and tendon repair, arthroscopic techniques including cartilage regeneration with stem cells ( de novo juvenile cartilage implantation ), and flatfoot reconstruction. Dr. Moss treats both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Moss has been very interested in the evolution of Ankle Replacements with implants for arthritis since early in his medical school. He is now one of a few physicians who is certified to perform this complicated procedure that allows patients pain-free activity.
Dr. Moss is married to his wife, Lynette and is father to their triplet daughters. He and his family moved from Pearland Texas and currently reside in Friendswood Texas. In addition to his many professional responsibilities, Dr. Moss is an avid sportsman and outdoorsman.

Hina S. Hassan DPM, FACFAS

During residency training Dr. Hassan participated in several research studies involving the advancement of new surgical techniques in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and member of the American Podiatric Medical Association , Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.
Dr. Hassan is a passionate, devoted, and energetic Podiatrist. She offers complete general foot and ankle care, including reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, pediatrics, total joint replacements, sports injuries, arthroscopy, lower extremity trauma, wound care, and limb salvage surgery.
Dr. Hassan is also fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. In her free time Dr. Hassan enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with her husband, Mirza and their three children.

Rita K. Acebo, D.P.M.
Podiatrist & Ankle Surgeon in Houston, TX
Rita Acebo, DPM, originally from Corpus Christi, completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where she held leadership roles in multiple clubs and organizations.
Dr. Acebo returned to Texas to complete a rigorous three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at West Houston Medical Center where she received extensive training in sports medicine, bunion correction, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot care, limb salvage, and complex reconstructive foot surgery.
As an active individual, Dr. Acebo understands the importance of a safe return to activity, optimized performance, and avoiding future injury. Dr. Acebo has been trained in the latest advanced treatment techniques for the foot and ankle. She treats all types of foot problems including ingrown toenails, hammertoes, bunions, sports injuries, arthritis, heel pain, flat feet, and diabetic foot care.
When she is not working, Dr. Acebo enjoys traveling with her husband, Logan, reaching fitness goals, exploring Houston’s diverse food culture, and cooking different cuisines from around the world.

Doye - Office Coordinator and Surgery Scheduling Specialist
Doye has been with Coastal Foot And Ankle Associates since 2004. She has over 30 years working experience in a wide variety of areas in the medical field. Doye serves as both the Office Coordinator and Surgery Scheduling Specialist for Coastal Foot and Ankle Associates. As Office Coordinator she handles the office administrative duties and manages the staff on a daily basis. In addition, she coordinates and schedules all aspects of surgery for the physicians at Coastal Foot and Ankle Associates. This function includes everything from surgical insurance verification and billing to coordinating fixation reps and making sure all hardware, bone grafts and materials are present the day of surgery. She is always more than willing to help with the questions or concerns of our patients and has taken great pride in very high patient satisfaction. She has always been a very intregral part of the Coastal Foot and Ankle team and its daily operations. Doye and her family reside in the Houston / Channelview area.
Stephanie - Front Office Assistant, Physical Therapy Tech, Surgery Scheduler ( Memorial Southeast location)
Stephanie joined the Coastal Foot and Ankle team in 2008. She runs the Memorial Hermann Southeast office location and has 14+ years of experience in assisting with the administrative component of the medical field. Her goal is to make sure your visit is flawless from check-in until the time you leave the office. Her job entails all the behind the scene paper work and administrative functions that are involved in patient care. These functions include insurance verification process, prior authorizations, referrals, appointment generation, billing, information management, and patient correspondence. In addition, Stephanie is also the Social Chair for CFAA and plans all of our social events. Stephanie is always willing to go the extra mile for our patients at Coastal Foot and Ankle. Stephanie resides in Pasadena, Texas with her family and is a great addition to the Coastal Foot and Ankle team!
Elsie - Medical Assistant for Dr. Moss and Physical Therapy Tech.
Elsie has been with Coastal Foot & Ankle since 2019. She assists Dr. Moss with patient treatment including all in-office procedures, casting, minor surgery, and diagnostic testing. Elsie also assists in physical therapy. Her goal is to get patients back to their normal physical activities as quick as possible and to help the patients prevent future injures through the application of various physical therapy techniques.Elsie takes pride in her excellent customer service and assisting our patients to improve and heal as fast as possible.
